DSEU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST  

All the candidates seeking admission in Diploma Programs (Full-time Diploma, Lateral Entry to Full-time Diploma, ADAM) and Undergraduate program (B.A. Digital Media and Design) will be required to appear for the respective Entrance Tests.

The Entrance Test will be conducted in ONLINE AI Proctored mode, which the candidate can attempt from their home or any convenient location but they will be required to have stable internet access so that he/she can attempt the exam in an uninterrupted manner. The Entrance Exam will be conducted ONLY ONCE as announced on the www.dseu.ac.in and DSEU admissions portal.

After the entrance test, a Merit List will be announced. On the basis of the Merit criterion, the candidates will be required to submit their choices/preferences of programs. 

Criteria for preparing the Merit List for Full-time Diploma (for Engineering programs) : 

Performance in CET :  60% (Weightage)

Academic Performance in Class X : 30% (Weightage)

ECA / Vocational Stream / LOR / Ward of DSEU Staff or Faculty: 10% (Weightage) 

Criteria for preparing the Merit List for Full-time Diploma (for Cosmetology & Health) : 

Performance in CET :  60% (Weightage)

Academic Performance in Class X : 30% (Weightage)

ECA / Vocational Stream / LOR / Ward of DSEU Staff or Faculty: 10% (Weightage) 

Criteria for preparing the Merit List for Full-time Diploma  Non-Engineering Programs, except Pharmacy and Cosmetology & Health) : 

Performance in Creative Aptitude Test:  60% (Weightage)

Academic Performance in Class X : 30% (Weightage)

ECA / Vocational Stream / LOR / Ward of DSEU Staff or Faculty: 10% (Weightage) 

Criteria for preparing the Merit List for Full-time Diploma (for Pharmacy) :  

Performance in CET :  60% (Weightage)

Academic Performance in Class XII : 30% (Weightage)

ECA / Vocational Stream / LOR / Ward of DSEU Staff or Faculty: 10% (Weightage)

Qualifying Cut-off : Candidates are required to secure either ⅓ marks in each of the sections or 45% of total marks.

Please Note  :

3. ALL Candidates who have applied for admission into Diploma in Pharmacy course type would be required to attempt ONE additional Section. This is Section E comprising of 20 Questions. These students would be provided an additional 20 minutes for completing their CET [I.e a TOTAL of 60 Minutes for FIVE sections]. 

4. All questions contain equal marks and there is NO negative marking 

5. CET for Diploma candidates has multiple sections depending on the course selected by the candidate.  

6. The medium of the examination will be English only.
